What We Do
Chartley Neighborhood Association

Chartley Neighborhood Association desires to be a connected community of neighbors who share a similar goal of creating happy and healthy neighborhoods. We do this through many ways - all of which show we really are BETTER TOGETHER.
A happy neighborhood is a connected neighborhood! On the first Tuesday in August, Chartley Neighborhood Association secures funding through community grants, and plans National Night Out. This public event is designed to encourage a strong relationship between law enforcement and the community, and connect neighbors together.
A happy neighborhood is a clean neighborhood! Every spring CHA partners with Alliance for the Chesapeake and Irvine Nature Center to remove trash and debris from the stream running through our neighborhood - from Shirley Manor Road to Gwynn West. A happy neighborhood is a safe neighborhood! CNA is proud to sponsor a COP Program (Citizens on Patrol) that strives to be observant eyes in the community and keep crime where it belongs - out of Chartley! If you are interested in learning more about this program and you can play a part to keep our neighborhoods safe, click here.
A happy community is an educated community! Each year, the Chartley Neighborhood Association offers one scholarship to a graduating high school senior from the Chartley community. The Joseph S. Molinaro Scholarship provides a deserving graduate a cash award of $1,000. Are you interested in applying? Click here to learn more about CNA scholarships.
